Saturday, October 11, 2008 Vancouver Local Time [ 11:58 AM ] October 30, 2007: [ JUNO ] Emily will be seen in the independent comedy drama Juno, which stars Ellen Page (Hard Candy, X-Men 3) as a teen mother looking for a couple to adopt her baby. Juno is directed by Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking) and features a fantastic ensemble cast that includes Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, J.K. Simmons, Allison Janney, and Rainn Wilson. The film has become a favorite on the festival circuit, scoring awards for Ellen Page and screenwriter Diablo Cody at the Hollywood Film Festival, and recently taking the top prize at the Roma Film Festival. Fox Searchlight will release Juno on Wednesday, December 5 in New York and Los Angeles, and rollout a nationwide expansion over the following weeks. October 30, 2007: [ ALIENS IN AMERICA ] Emily recently guest starred on the Christmas episode of the CW comedy Aliens in America, in which she plays the president of a chastity club. The premise alone sounds hilarious, and fans know that Emily will no doubt bring some memorable comedy to the role! October 30, 2007: [ ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY ] Emily and Katharine Isabelle: together again! No, it's not for a fourth installment of Ginger Snaps, but the duo will be portraying onscreen siblings again in Another Cinderella Story. This time, they'll be the evil stepsisters to the title character, played by Selena Gomez (The Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana).
